EnquireThe matte is the film, not the paint. The gloss the car was built with is still underneath it, untouched, and it comes back if the film ever comes off.
That matters more than it sounds: a factory matte finish cannot be polished, so a mark in it is permanent. A mark in film is a panel of film.
